Farewell.

Farewell to some decent friends. Worthy soldiers. My converse.
I got these shoes around the time I got my glasses, [a year ago+ a few months].
These shoes have gone over some great and awful terrain. These shoes have protected and somewhat killed my feet. They have delayed me changing in Phys. Ed due to their laces and design. But some memorable experiences were what it's been through.

First off, my first [and second] Avenged Sevenfold concert.

Ah, the glory days. When they were new, and I had just bought them the most worthy accessory, yellow shoe laces.

[Taken before the concert started.]
I showed off my new shoes and wore them til there was no tomorrow.
I went to the movies several times which led to some odd moments and sometimes led to me running in the empty lot next to the gas station. And after while I decided to get new laces. A pair of red and of yellow, but I never installed them.

In May my family and I went to San Francisco. One of my favorite places on earth.

Spent time with family had some good laughs. Walked in AT&T Park where my cousin's graduation was held and watched a movie with a whole lotta family.
Then came along the summer, where it took me running through Las Vegas.

The city of lights. The Strip.

I walked and I ran around Sin City, enjoying the promises of youth and vitality.
But June quickly flew by. And it was July. Comic-Con.
I met some of my favorite people.

But I tired my feet out so much I couldn't go on Saturday.

[So I ended up spending the day with my cousin and looking at stuff.]

All to blame were my blasted feet and shoes.

But I trekked back on Sunday and enjoyed the great times SDCC can bring.

I even got tickets to an MCR concert. A secret show in a club called The Roxy in LA. That was an unforgettable experience.

August. Last times with my friends without school in the way.

Eventually I was in school. And everyday, I put on those Chuck Taylor hi-tops and looked at them admirably.
In September, the day before my birthday, I installed the new pair of yellow laces and continued with my daily doings.
October was another tip to Vegas. An eventful weekend. We went to a party and I got bored and changed heels to the shoes and a dress to an MCR shirt and jeans.

December came and I went to SJ by myself.

Stayed with my friend and stepped in rain puddles. My first hockey game too.

And with the trip home, trip back, it was exerting.
January, I went to the beach for a bit with my sisters, mom and nephew. It was their last day in California.

And in those Converse, I ran around and jumped in the sand in a white shirt and jeans.

That day was pure bliss. I even let the shoes get caught by a wave.

Later that month I went to the SD Zoo with my friend.

'Twas a tiring day, but so much fun. We had some French dudes follow us and a plethora of hilarious sightings.

The animals were gorgeous, as was the place.
February. MESA day.  I won my very first medal that day. I ran around in my purple pants and the shoes all day. And finally, when they called our names for second place in the math competition, it was just perfect.

March was the last time I used them. I volunteered in a rock climbing wall and it was great. I learned how to use a bow and arrow.

Plus I got a really bad sunburn.

And this is where the tale of the shoes ends.
Unfortunately, my ventures took a toll on my shoes. They were becoming worn and I decided to switch to some shoes I had gotten the same day I got the Converse to let them rest. They have been restored to their 1st laces where they sit in my room, remembering all their adventures in the Golden Year.
